Note on Sending E-mails:
I try to reply to every e-mail I get, but that doesn't always happen. If you don't recieve a reply, it may be becasue I overlooked your e-mail, or did something else with it and it has gotten lost in cyberspace. If it was truly imperative that you recieved an answer, you can send the e-mail again. Also, my internet service cuts off at a certain time every day, and I loose alot of e-mails that way.
I enjoy helping people with their own costumes, but please, try to refrain from sending e-mails like this:
"I want to make this costume. I have one week. What do I do? I need help with EVERYTHING!"
It would take me forever to write a well written reply to answer "what do I do?" Not to mention, it's quite painstaking. If you need help with a costume, be sure to ask specific questions. The more specific your question, the easier it is to answer, and the better an answer you will get. Besides, it's alot easier to focus on one detail then everything if you put it in perspective.
Also, if you are sending an e-mail asking for help on your costume, just be sure to include:
1. Your budget! How much you're willing to spend.
2. How long you have to complete the project.
3. Fabric sources around you, if you have access to buying off the internet.
4. Your level of sewing experience.
5. How accurate you want the costume to be.
Also, there is the Forum to consider. I usually suggest this, becuase if you need help with something, it's alot easier for me to answer. I check the forum regularly and it's faster to recieve a reply. Also, there are other people there who can help you, too. E-mails are lovely, but sometimes my service can be a pain to use when I want to send a reply.
